Saint Marys wrestling holds a strong tradition as one of the top small schools in WV wrestling history. The Blue Devils have been competing on the mat since the 1969-1970 season. To date, the Blue Devils have recorded 22 individual state champions. Those include:

Along with these individual champions, Saint Marys has 90 placers in the WV State Tournament. They have won the WV State Tournament 3 times (1985, 1986, 1989). They have also won their conference championship 5 times (Little Kanawha Conference) and crowned 66 individual LKC champions.
