The 1st Annual Girls Jr State Championship will be held Feb 12th at the ELITE Center in Parkersburg on Feb 12th. More details will come later.
This is an expansion of the Girls Middle School and High School State Championship.
The Girls Jr State Championship will occur in the morning of the 12th and will be for elementary age wrestlers, West Virginia state wrestlers only.
The Girls Jr. States will be followed by the 3rd Annual MIDDLE School and HIGH School States in the afternoon also at the ELITE Center on the 12th. The Middle and High School State Tournament is a WVSSAC sanctioned event and is endorsed by the State High School Coaches Association. Wrestlers must be on their school team to participate.
We will have more info as the date grows closer.

The Mid-Ohio Valley Girls Championship will be held January 8th at Jackson MS in Vienna WV. Scooter Myers (Coach Jackson MS and Pkb Cougars) is Tournament Director. Targeted age is Middle School and younger.

Please share this to anyone interested in promoting or endorsing Girls Wrestling as we strive to get the sports sanctioned by the WVSSAC. The tournament is sanctioned by the SSAC but the sport is not.
