South has won 3 tournaments in a row ! First it was Winners Choice scoring 242 points winning by 43.5 points over the 2nd place team.Next it was the OVAC with 298 poins over the 2nd place team by 69.5 points. Then the Brooke Classic scoring 274 points over the 2nd place team by 107.5 points. This is probably the best team South has ever had. The team is peaking at the right time and we STILL have'nt had all 14 starters competing together in any of these three tourneys. Come State time we will have our full team and we are going to break lots of records. GO SOUTH !

It's possible there could be some records broken. I think they would need to qualify their entire team to the state tournament for that to happen. They are capable of that. However, I feel it's more likely they will be down two wrestlers at state. If so, the records are likely safe.

Seems almost impossible to beat the team score. One year South had 9 kids in the state finals, with a couple third place finishers too. I assume that would be the most team points.

Another year they had 11 wrestlers in the finals but didn't score as many points.

These are for AAA only. I don't know for sure what the AA/A records are, and I don't have the energy to figure them out tonight. After 15 hours at work yesterday and 9 today, and a 45-minute drive ahead of me before I can go home and go out and enjoy a nice dinner with my husband, I'm a little tired.
