Feast or Famine
A picture is worth 1,000 words. Look at both of the new regional maps.
Holy smokes. Braxton Amos works out with a landmine now!!!!!!

Can you post the pic Hugger?
Ah you think WVmat is your ally? You merely adopted the forum. I was born in it, molded by it. I didn't see actual wrestling until I was already a man, by then it was nothing to me but blinding!

I mean it makes sense to me to put the teams that finished 1-5 in the same Region!

Re: Feast or Famine
This will increase participation in the other regions ? Kids will come out to battle for the 5-6 spots, since 1-4 will go to the Region 4 kids ?

It looks to me like the teams in each region are based on location, not placement at states.

I agree, except for that huge white region looks fair to me
Re: Feast or Famine
The AA/A map is completely wrong since it has several teams driving through opposing regions to get to their tournament. I think AAA looks about the way it should on location but still don't agree with why they needed to stack region 4.They could've split up the power in AAA because in AA we have schools 15 minutes apart in different regions. Clay Battelle who is now in region 2 has to drive through Fairmont to get to RCB who is in region 2 but all of the Fairmont schools are in region 1. How does this make sense? A better option would've been keeping the eastern panhandle teams to them selves and giving region 1 the Harrison county schools. I hope this is revisited but if not the state tournament won't be as strong as it should be for at least a few years and that's a shame.

I agree AA/A looks screwed up. The eastern panhandle teams being included in region 1 is odd, but I am more baffled by Herbert Hoover being surrounded by region 4 while being in region 3.
