Hunter DeLong & Fastest Pins

Postby Bearhugger » Fri Feb 26, 2016 12:34 am

Congratulations to my good friend Hunter DeLong for registering the fastest pin Thursday night in AAA.

12 seconds in and out.

18 AAA wrestlers got it done in under 1 minute.

The following schools all had three wrestlers each who pinned their opponent in less than 1 minute:

South
Huntington
Point
St. Albans

Interesting even further, three of these programs have won state team titles.

Taking care of business.

No. The correlation would be team titles equates to good coaching.

Good coaching equates to taking care of business at the state tournament to avoid injury, DQ, wasting energy.

There were plenty of weak match ups. There were plenty of pins that occurred in the first round. I cut it off at the one minute mark.

the comment of weak matchup is not correct. first,, these are regional place winner's. second, quick pins are prepared wrestlers who can get it done as fast as they can. save energy and no mistakes . PREPARED ! I like the quick pin bearhugger. keep keeping track !

Any competitor in any sport is not responsible for their competition.

As for the West Virginia State wrestling championship, these kids are the best in the state.
