This is the Indy lineup you are likely to see tomorrow:
106 - Tanner Harris
113 - Alex Hart

138 - Nathan Wood
145 - Cody Clifton
152 - Jacob Hart
160 - Trey Gunnoe
170 - Dustin Justice
182 - Noah Adams
195 - Alex Daniels
220 - Trey Williams
285 - Marcus Duvall
106 - Tanner Harris

Re: Huntington Vs. Independence
My best guess about the Huntington lineup you will see tonight is:
106 -
113 - Humphreys
120 - Haddix
126 - Grass
132 - Jeffers
138 - Allen
145 - Chiilders
152 - Shepard
160 - Johnson
Considering they played football until Saturday, I have no idea which of their big guys might have enough practice to wrestle this early in the season. Huntington wrestles St. Eds on Saturday and I expect some of their guys will be at lower weights for that dual. Some of our kids went up to a weekend camp at Rob Waller's place and we scrimmaged some St. Eds kids in a dual while we were there. They had a really tough 106. I will be interested to hear how Humphreys does against him.

Re: Huntington Vs. Independence
From the talk around town look for Huntington to have a very makeshift lineup with several kids out due to football, injuries, etc. many will not be in the weight classes where they will eventually land. I opine that Indy will be victorious by a substantial margin tonight since they have a fine team and have pretty much a full lineup from what I can read. I hope it will get posted up quickly.

Any updates for us non-twitter folks?
Won't these two teams meet again at the WSAZ? Along with SOUTH?

Re: Huntington Vs. Independence
Indy winning handily. Notable - Grass did not wrestle, Jeffers wins a wild one 10-9 over Gibson, Cox pins Haddox, Clifton beats Allen 6-2 @ 145 (Allen most likely will be 132 though) - Humphries tech falls Hart 17-0 , Murphy (H) wins by tech fall- Lots of forfeits for Huntington. Childers wins by fall. - Looks like HHS was not the lineup we will eventually see. Huntington weak At the top (Football most likely) that's about all I heard - getting texts from a parent who was there.

No info, lot of stomach bugs going around the schools right now - also strep could be one of those.

Re: Huntington Vs. Independence
Top 5 observations last night:
1. Great turnout and support from the fans.
2. Independence is a well-coached disciplined team.
3. Independence was prepared and their team wanted it more.
4. Huntington was not at full strength due to injuries, football, and weight issues.
5. Josh Humphreys is a machine. I was impressed with the young man in his high school debut.

Re: Huntington Vs. Independence
The third team from Socastee, SC( iirc) was not allowed to travel by their school board so it ended up being a dual.
Re: Huntington Vs. Independence
Cody Clifton looked excellent. Possible MOW at the state tournament if he keeps it up.

Re: Huntington Vs. Independence
Hmmm
Don't know what happened there. Must have mis-clicked somewhere in the data base.
I restored it.
No conspiracy here.....

It's the Southern miss spelling for bored. Has duel meaning and multiply uses.
