How many matches do you have to wrestle in a weight class to wrestle that weight class in county tourney.

I believe the coaches decided the only stipulation was that the wrestler had to make base weight before the tournament to wrestle that class, perhaps Brent can correct me if I am wrong.

Yes, coaches agreed that the wrestler had to make base weight at least once before they can wrestle at that weight for the county. Unlike the High School state tournament, the middle school county championship is part of their regular season weigh-ins. If the County Tournament was outside of the regular season weigh-ins, then we would go under the guidelines of half of their weigh-ins to wrestle at the lower weight. Thanks - Brent
