Indy won't have have numerous wrestlers per weight class at states like WSAZs

Beat the current #1 by more than 100 statement made what more could they do? Is there anyone who honestly believes that Indy does not win states?

Doesn't matter how many kids were in each class only one per class scores points. Indy did indeed make a statement in still being the number 1 AA team.

East Fairmont probably won't have numerous wrestlers at the state tournament like they did at the WSAZ because the region 1 tournament will take a few of them out. Indy could qualify their entire team if they get the right line up in place.

Indy should have never been ranked anything but 1 even after the loss heads up in the dual. East had an upset at 138 that was a minimum 9 point swing and a huge pin at 182 on the verge of getting tecd so that's minimum 10 points swing. That was East Fairmonts night and a huge win. The fact is, Indy separated themselves clearly as the best AA team in the state in Huntington this weekend. That dual loss woke the giant!

Indy & EF both had extra wrestlers place in a weight class. EF gained a 4th at 106 & Indy had a 7th at 170 and a 7th at 138 so actually the extra wrestlers argument doesn't hold much water.

I am sure that the JV wrestlers' wins did not go toward Varsity team points. About all the JV did was take out some other school's wrestlers and keep those schools from scoring.

Some folks say "if you are not good enough to be Varsity on your own team, then you should not get to wrestle in the regional".

I say we need and want the best in the state to be at the regional tournaments so we then have the best at the state tournament, Varsity or JV.

I saw one JV wrestler at the WSAZ defeat a wrestler ranked #4 in the state.
