Hunter Taylor - Independence

I want to give a shout out to Independence's Hunter Taylor for "running the gauntlet" at the WSAZ on Saturday.

Hunter is currently ranked #2 in AA/A.

At the WSAZ:

1. Quarterfinals he defeated AAA #2 ranked Hunter Burdette/Ripley 6-4
2. Semifinals he lost 5-4 to AA/A #1 ranked Seacrist/Petersburg.
3. Consolation semifinals he defeated AAA #1 ranked Creamer/Spring Valley 6-5.
4. Won 3rd place by defeating AA/A #4 ranked Ward/Winfield 14-6.

I do not recall a time when a wrestler had back to back matches to both AAA and AA/A #1 ranked wrestlers.

Great job Hunter. Now go flip those tires on the school's campus 10 times a day between now and March 1st.
