For those of you coming to Winners Choice, I was informed by friends in that town the main route to the armory off exit 132 is closed because of a rock slide/ unsteady hillside. Any one from Fairmont care to provide alternative paths?

Take exit 136, come down the extension, take left at the bottom of the hill on Merchant Street and cross the new bridge (3rd Street Bridge). Stay on that and take left at CVS on to Fairmont Avenue. Stay on Fairmont Avenue and turn right before Pizza Hut on to W Fork River Trail. That will bring you to the Arena.
Address reads as: 1516 Mary Lou Retton Dr
Fairmont, WV 26554
This will get you there.

My question is can you get to Muriel's from the armory or is the issue between the two? Gotta get some Muriel's while we are up there!

You can still get to the Armoury or Fairmont Senior Field House from exit 132. If your heading north on 79 get off exit 132 turn left at the light on to Rt 250. Stay on Rt 250 for about a mile or so until you pass Woods Boat House turn left right past Woods on to Holbert Rd. Stay on Holbert Rd until you get to the stop sign and turn left on to Mary Lou Retton Dr stay on Mary Lou Retton until you see the Armoury on the right it's a little shorter the going down to the new downtown exit.

If your heading south on 79 turn right off the interstate and follow same directions. You can't miss Holbert Rd because Rt 250 is closed right passsed Holbert

Question for repoman

Left onto Holbert off if Rt 250 then when Holbert dead ends at Mary Lou turn left. You will go a mile or two and see the Armoury on right
