I know weight classes won't be 100 percent accurate, but let's get some preseason opinions on top 5 in each weight class . A/aa and aaa.

2 182/95 Hart
3 138 Humphreys
4 120 Martin
5 too close to call. I hear Henson may wrestle major open tournaments so if that's the case you can't rank him but he is definatly top 2 or 3. Lotta tough kids in this state now. Wv is officially on the map! Team wise you gotta think The patriots roll in both AA and AAA. It's wrestling season fellas. I'm ready for a tough 4 month journey! Wish all the wrestlers a good and injury free season! The ones who want it the most and did the most work in the offseason always shine in the end! I know a few lineups of some major players in the game but I will keep that under my hat for now lol. Let's get it boys

No Justin Allman on your list? Hmmmmmm.......
Also, Luke Martin will not be at 120. He's grown a bit.
i have hart above Humphreys because Hart is a 3x state champion and beat a couple returning champions that were a year or two older. How do you have Humphreys above Henson when Henson is undefeated against Humphreys?abettnman wrote:Gator wrote:mattman wrote:The 5 most dominant wrestlers in the state imo go as follows..

There is an arguement for either. After seeing their matches, I think it's a mental thing for Humphreys he wrestles Henson different. I still think Humphreys is the better wrestler.

Henson is only getting better man. He has an advantage that no other kid has. His father pushes him and he does full go college practice. He has the best drilling partners and instruction. I'm a believer you are a product of the wrestlers around you and the coach in your particular room. It's no coincidence that the kids that go to Indy make leaps and bounds the first year they are there. Hart wasn't a killer by any means in middle school but the day he stepped in the room with coach warden it all changed. Imo Henson has every advantage possible. I think Josh may be the more superior athlete but how do you get better training than the WVU room? He will wear that WVU blue and gold one day and his old man will not let him fail. Would love to watch the match again between Josh and Henson. Both kids bring it

1) Noah Adams: 3x national champ. Something like a 10x all American. Pan am champ and OW. Dominate on the state level( one class match last season will Allman) and many more unlisted creditionals
2) humprheys: dominate on a state level. Competitive nationally. Just shy of placing at super( would be Henson, but I'm not sure if he'll be competing at a high school or not.)
3) Hart: 3x state champion looking for his 4th. Flonational all American. Virginia beach all American.
4) Allman) 3x state champ. Virginia Beach All- American. Formerly ranked in the top 20
5) Cole Laya: left off of many peoples list. Only undefeated wrestler in AA last season
6) Luke Martin: state champion and has continue to grow as a wrestler. Gonna be tough to. E this year.
7) Jared Donahue: state champion and looked tough last year.
8) Caleb Haynes: long list of accomplishments and will be a problem right off of the bat.
9) Nash: didn't get to see much of him in action last season, but he's as tough as they come. Don't see anyone stopping him at 160.
10) Ryan Mills: ( if he comes out) double Fargo all American and an athlete. Hasn't be atop the podium yet, but this could be his year.
To all south fans I realize Braxton Amos is amongst the top ranks, but I chose to leave him out since he will not be competing this season. He is a gifted wrestler and has a very bright future.
