Incredible for both of these gentlemen.

We still have approximately 6 months to see what weight classes they will be in next season.

Great job guys. It would be great to see them both at the Ironman tournament. I'm not sure if anyone from WV has ever won.

Remarkable that Noah has worked his way to #1 and Braxton is ranked before wrestling a high school match. Congratulations to both young men!
South is entered in the Ironman tourney this year and has had two Ironman champions, Casey Daggett and Ryan Metz.

Noah set the bar high and with a young and talented Amos coming up behind him... I think it's safe to say West Virginia boys are opening some eyes across the country. Congrats to both of these young men!

See that Steve .. Happy 4th. Very wet down here.

It's gonna be interesting to see how all this talent South has in the upper weights shakes out this year. Hopefully enough room for everyone.

I was just talking with someone today about South's wealth of talent in the upper weights. Regardless of everything, there will be somebody on the B team who could and would place in the state tournament. There are too many kids and not enough weight classes.

182 through 285 = 4 weight classes.

Roll call: Amos, Delong, Allman, Wolfe, Haga = 5

Who knows who else is in that room.

4 - 5 = B

Nobody likes the idea of letting B teamers ENTER the regional tournaments and WRESTLE their way into the state tournament. I am for it.

Let the regions be the proving ground and then the state can determine the best.

There are also injuries that occur and someone has to be there to take their place. You never know where someone may end up in the lineup, but having talented kids on your team is a blessing, not a problem.

You are correct my "South friend with the Independence T-shirt". Lets hope nobody gets injured. South might have 4 state champs from 182 to 285 and a super solid kid on the B team.

In the mean time, there might be some regions producing byes for the state tournament. Or.......there will be kids placing in the 29 team AAA state tournament that are not part of the best 6 in the weight class. Anyway, it will make next season interesting.

Is South hosting Region 4 this upcoming season? Regardless of location, I will be there.

South is hosting region 4 this year. TSFH: I have zero pull and very little push.
