This is the worst website i have ever seen!! It's 2016!! Can you not post results in real time?? That means live.... as they are happening.... get yourself an IT guy and post the results. The live Twitter feed is terrible... POST THE RESULTS!!!!! COME ON!!!! I know its WV, but get it together and make a change!!

Doc does a fantastic job! Check out any other high school wrestling site. WVMAT is leaps and bounds ahead of other states site.

If you don't like what you see, do it yourself. Doc does a great job!! I appreciate all he does for the sport. If you don't like it, go somewhere else!!

I'm inclined to agree with him in some respects ... I know I won't be popular saying that but getting updated results has always been frustrating ... The administrator is more than likely doing the best that he can do.

I tend to agree on both aspects. As my son is not wrestling to focus on football I wish there was a football site as extensive and detailed as the Mat, yet in this day and age I think there could be a way to update the brackets say ever 2 hours instead of the end of each day. I really do enjoy following the action and keeping tabs on the kids.

Just stream it like a few years ago. Don't worry about announcing matches

Two ideas...go to the state tournament or if you can't make it, get someone who is present to text you results. I texted results to a military friend in GA.

Unbelievable the nerve of some people. There are always those who expect someone else to do everything for them and all they do is complain. The amount of work put into this website amazes me. Please don't let a few outspoken people frustrate you Doc! The vast makority of wv wrestling fans love the fact that you provide this website...even for the idiots like getit3.

I guess you could ask for a refund of the membership fees you pay here.

To get results on the internet any faster would require implementation of new software at the tournament, with the mat side scorekeepers entering results in a laptop or tablet or pad or smart phone or some such.

There was some discussion on this topic a few days ago under the heading "Live Feed."

I can assure readers that tournament officials have evaluated other software systems, and the perfect solution has not yet been found. Perhaps next year.

I will say Gator made me feel like I was sitting right there beside him. Thank you for texting me the results. For the young man who was complaining about the results being posted......you have options, use them. You are not entitled to anything, you want something either ask or go get it yourself.

To jaxsola....with no offense intended, if your son was focusing on football then he would be wrestling, unfortunately I've heard that infamous statement way to often and seen the same results way too often.....none to minimal or sometimes they go backward in their cardio, and if you don't want to wait til end of day for results, go to the site that was referred to earlier www.thewrestlingtourney.com , it is usually 1/2 hr or less behind real time, and thanks Doc for an awesome site

AAcoach. No offense taken. I did try thewrestlingtourny and nothing happened to the checked box. Again this website is awesome. As far as my son he wrestled since he was six so yes wrestling benefited him tremendously and as a junior this was his last offseason. It is not wrong at that age to make a choice and follow your passion. He needed to get bigger and stronger while maintaining speed and quickness. So he's at the school training til six every day. Between his grades and skill he'll go to college for free barring major injury. Nothing wrong with a D2 or 3 school. Again wrestling provided him with many tools that translate on the field, which I've preached to every football player from the youth days. Don't knock a kid for making a choice. And yes I know many parents have a pipe dream of D1. In this house we are realistic about his future and so far its been very positive and promising this winter. Best of luck to all wrestlers in both brackets today.

Doc does an outstanding job. I challenge you to do better. LOL. This web site, as I see it, is second to none. I suggest to the unsatisified person to do what famous coach once said...."Lead, follow or get out of the way".

I happen to be out of the country visiting my daughter who is in grad school, but love to follow the state tournament results and cheer for all the kids I know.

Take it from someone who is 3,000 miles away from WV this week-- this website and your efforts are very much appreciated and a lifesaver for all the fans who can't be in Huntington.
