JV Wrestler of the Year Award

Postby Bearhugger » Sun Jan 16, 2022 11:20 am

BEAR TRACKS will be giving out the "JV Wrestler of the Year" Award.

The results will be tracked for the highest placing JV wrestler at the WSAZ.

Of course, if your school doesn't participate in the WSAZ, send me your wrestler's name their record, what they did, etc.

It was recently said that "there is nowhere to hide in wrestling practice". The JV put in all the work and get little to no matches. We wonder why participation is down and forfeits are up.
Holy smokes. Braxton Amos works out with a landmine now!!!!!!

Sort of true. He wrestled JV at 126 for WSAZ. But normally he is their starting 138 and is ranked 8th at 138 in the most recent poll. I don’t believe his team had any wrestler entered at 138 for WSAZ. No clue on the plans for him going forward but I suspect he may continue to be their starting 138.
