Team WV Day 1

Today we have 16 & Unders wrestling. Gage Wright (132) & Justin Bartee (138) are wrestling. The session times are from 9-1:30 & 3-7:30. Juniors weigh-in tonight at 7:30 & start competing tomorrow. You follow on FloArena or Team WV on twitter @WVusawrestling.

After the first session, Gage Wright is 1-1 & Justin Bartee is 2-0. Bartee is in the round of 32. Wright lost his match to the 2nd seed and won his next match by fall. Bartee won his first match 5-4. He was down by four with 20 seconds left and got a takedown to a turn. Ohio challenged the call but lost it. His next match he won 13-2 against a kid from NJ.

Are brackets posted on a website? I am finding it very difficult to locate, would be cool to be able to follow all the WV wrestlers as they move through the brackets.

I would probably fork over some PPV $ if Braxton and AJ Ferrari’s paths would cross sometime this season. He moved back to Allen, TX so the schedules probably won’t line up...oh well, maybe next year.

JMB fights hard but falls 6-2 and Braxton wins 10-0 and is again Fargo Champion! Way to go guys!

That match may have happened at Who’s #1, but Ferrari has a torn up shoulder.

Gotcha, I didn’t realize AJ had an injury. I am sure he is a good kid and I am totally basing this off listening to his interviews and seeing his “classy” social media posts, I personally would love to see Braxton square up with him and bring him back down to Earth a little bit.

#1 and #2 in FLO’s P4P rankings. I’ve watched Ferrari for 2 years at Ironman and I’m thinking Braxton has the better motor. And I’m not a bit partial!
