I was no way involved in matches this evening just hung around afterwards. Where has the good sportsmanship gone? I get being excited or disappointed after a loss, But is the mat the best place to show this? Go up in the stands and pose with your “guns” flexed not in center of mat, and on the flip side don’t throw a temper tantrum, again wait until you go somewhere more private if you want to behave that way. I know I’ve told my kids don’t do anything afterwards that could be unsportsmanlike and potentially restart the match or cost the team a point.

And those couple teams points don't mean anything to that team

General statement as I saw multiple kids from AAA and AA/A do both things. The celebration especially is getting out of hand in my opinion.

If a celebration is genuine and based on pure emotion then I have no problem with it. But sometimes it can border line show boating. That’s when I don’t like it.

YES IT IS

I believe one team lost 3 points for poor sportsmanship last night. As far as celebrations go, I saw nothing out of hand. It’s an emotional sport and they are kids. I have way more issue with an obvious lack of control of wrestlers for their losses.

Agreed. This is an very emotional sport. Many great wrestlers show both good and bad emotion. Im good with both as long as its in real time.

I saw no bad “celebrations” last night. I saw some kids emotional about placing / making the finals at the state tournament! But nothing over the top. Let the kids have a little bit of fun. As for the poor sportsmanship... I agree with that.
