Looking at some of the results posted it we have some very fast finishes. So much for the excuse that attending wrestling events takes too long compared to other sports.
Weir vs Frankfort finished in 7:26
Hampshire vs Frankfort finished in 5:15
Doddridge vs Clay Battelle finished in an amazing 1:47

14 matches in less than 2 minutes total.
Each match averaged less that 8 seconds.
Easy money for the referee bad day for concession stand sales.

If I would have been this politically correct last season when I discussed forfeits, many folks might not have blown a gasket. I guess when you hang out with folks like Gator, Frank and PHD, political correctness goes out the window like the rule book at certain skin checking stations.

This hurts fundraising, which in turn could force kids to have to wear singlets for another 2-3 seasons before they can buy their two piece shirts with boxer shorts.

I have personally witnessed Frank eating. Any tournament that he is at is at no risk of low concession sales regardless of match times

As far as doddridge and clay battle, having been at the Ritchie tournament, clay battle had 3 or four wrestlers. I don't know about that time. I saw the match at 126 out of the corner of my eye and thought it lasted at least 1 minute.

The thread started by looking at the posted scores and adding up the bout times in the three weight classes wrestled (145, 152, and 195; none at 126) in this dual of 45 seconds, 48 seconds, and 14 seconds for a total time of 1 minute 47 seconds.
