He won the 2014 145 lb Wood Co middle School Championship competing against 7th and 8th graders while he was only a 6th grader. In 2015 he won the same title in the 171 lb class. He was also a 2015 National Champion. Braxton ios one of the hardest working, most polite, nicest young man you will ever meet. And he's a straight A student. He's also a WV wrestling legend. And you've just HEARD of him. Well now you know who he is, I hope.

Re: Braxton Amos
Thank you. I have not followed middle school, so I am not familiar with any of these gentlemen.

Holy smokes. Braxton Amos works out with a landmine now!!!!!!
Re: Braxton Amos
<snip> South is very good and if he attends South he will be lucky to make the jv team as a freshman. Now that he's been mentioned 2x, <snip>
If you asked him about the accomplishments I bet he probably couldn't tell you what he has won. Winning wasn't the purpose of those trips.

Re: Braxton Amos
I will tell you what it is all about. I mentioned that I had heard the name "Braxton Amos" on another topic. I was going to make a point to watch for him at the WSAZ.
I do not live in Parkersburg and I do not follow middle school wrestling, thus many of these up and comers are strangers to me.
Watching out for your kid is a compliment.
I didn't start this topic.

There is a lot to be said about modesty which I believe this young man is but I don't know you or him other than watching him wrestle and I believe he could be a varsity wrestler on any school team in this state! He is a hammer... I can't wait to see what he does in high school and beyond!
Re: Braxton Amos
Nah, he wouldn't be going to St Paris Graham. His GPA is to high.
Re: Braxton Amos
Great kid, awesome wrestler. He will be a force as a freshman.
Re: Braxton Amos
He is certainly missed this January-but I bet he's not missed by all, lol.
Great wrestler, but greater student/person. Great family with great moral teachings of humility and discipline.
Heal up, Brax. Keep your eye on the finish line.

Talked to Braxton last night and he's working hard to get back. I'm guessing the fire that burns inside him is enough to make his comeback even more special.
