Independence and South

Getting lost and buried in some of the comments is the fact that Independence just had a three peat and South back to back state titles. Congratulations to both programs and their coaches and let's continue to face each other in matches and make each other stronger.

I support only one program, South. I respect both programs. I'm saving the t-shirt for that special occasion when Frank rips his off and needs a backup!

Bearhugger, when I vacation, be it Maine or Myrtle Beach, when someone sees my "Parkersburg South" shirt, they recognize the name.

When they won a big tourney in Florida and another in Reno a few years back, they were posting about them in blogs and wrestling internet sites. Now THAT is name recognition!
