With the exception of a few individuals from a few teams, winning the MSAC is like winning AAA region 3 and 4 at the same time.

Why did they give byes to the top seeds? Your best wrestlers can't score bonus points with byes and shouldn't be penalized for attaining the top seeds. Byes should be drawn randomly by rule book. Is this St. Albans first rodeo at running a tournament? I can't believe the coaches agreed to this.

Rule 10-3 Art 3 ...When byes are required for the first round, they shall be placed by mutual consent or drawn so they are distributed evenly throughout the bracket. I can't speak for St. Albans or any of the coaches but it is a common practice to award the highest seeds byes. Just a quick glance at the coalfields and big ten condense it appears they did the same.
