If you have anyone who we can add to the list and any head to head or common opponents results, that would be awesome.
I can also look back at last season's state tournament and use that to help with a ranking system too. Any help is appreciated. Let's help promote our female wrestlers.
Thanks

Rylei Belcher from Liberty-Raleigh is now at 132. Belcher pinned Meadows from Nicholas at National Guard Duals.

Tower from University pinned the girl from Shady Spring at 145 and had a good 3rd period loss to the Liberty girl. Probably worthy of a mention.

Liberty-Raleigh has a 152 named Lucy Farris. She has lost to Grove from Shady twice.

I was wondering what criteria you are basing these rankings off of because Caitlynn Ash was the state champion in the 114lb weight last year but you have Emery who placed 3rd to her in the same weight class ranked above her in the 114???

At this point with results being so limited I was throwing stuff together really. If changes need to be made I figured someone would help out. Easy fix especially if they don't have a head to head this season.
Saw a lot of names at WSAZ's something like 20-25 girls but I am not sure of all their names, and try not to get any gender neutral ones wrong ya know.
Help is always appreciated

Thank you.
I updated with what I have, but I did not look at the middle school state tourney from last year.
I'll admit I am not as familiar with this as other people, but am all for growing the sport for our female athletes. I figured with everyone's help we could piece it together and it could be added to polls or something eventually. Maybe it has to be sanctioned by the state first but either way, its fun and really cool seeing all the names.

Those two have never come head to head and the Emery on the WSAZ seeding isn't the same one that is her brother. Wasn't try to be rude was just trying to figure it out because she was in the 120 and automatically jump ahead of Ash who placed 1st and Emery was 3rd in that same weight class so it wasn't adding up.

Ash should be ranked above Bailey as they have never wrestled and Caitlyn did win the bracket last year (unless there are some common opponents that I am unaware of). Has Caitlyn even made base weight yet though? I have only seen her wrestling boys at 120 this season.

Ash is at 120 for WSAZ, not sure why I had her at 114, maybe that was from looking at last years results, dunno, sorry. Hope everyone doesn't get too upset with all this and kinda of just sorts it out. I know on the guys side, it gets heated for whatever reason, its only rankings. I get they can be used to help seed and so forth but the biggest impact to me is promoting the sport. Basketball has had rankings out all year and I saw where they were posting state stat leaders as well. I think the competition of having all that on the wrestling side would help grow the sport, but that discussion is probably suited for a different thread.

Lakenzie Whittington was at Z’s from Sissonville at 106. She was runner up to Salmons last year, and I don’t see that that will have changed.
