I might be wrong, but back when I coached Middle school, the Conference tourneys did not count as one of your weigh-ins. So you basically got a free tournament slot without it counting against you. One extra weekend of some sort of competition.

What's the possibility they have an Exhibition match later in the day? I remember wrestling my weight class, then having an Exhibition match (which wouldn't count on your record) after the last match.

Just out of curiosity, what is the points difference in a wrestler winning his (or her) semifinal then losing in the Finals as opposed to the 3rd Place wrestler winning Cons Semi and Cons Final matches?

I remember a few years ago a wrestler finishing 5th in his region, and going on to finish 2nd in the State Tournament.
