Let's leave football out of this. Point has 3 strong 106 wrestlers who know where they are.1 boy is varsity and the others wait there turn. It's not about not working hard because they could probably start for 95% of the teams in the state. They knew their job was to prevent other teams from scoring...

Top A and AA teams in the state. Featuring the top 4 106 wrestlers but 2 of them are going to be sitting on the bench

Point Pleasant Hwt was a 5 seed

Ward is a very good wrestler. Don't think he's lost too many in state matches but haven't seen his results from Kentucky

Three of them in one class and they all wrestled their teammates in close matches

It's not about everyone getting a trophy. It's about the best wrestlers going to states which will never happen because some regions might have a 5th place wrestler better than a champion from another region. It's a problem that would be hard to fix.

I thought Bartley was wrestling 102 . I was looking forward to him wrestling Wright
