The Super 32 tournament is coming up in 3 weeks and it is one of my favorite tournaments to watch. It is chalked full of insane talent, and it signals that wrestling season is just a matter of weeks aways. I thought I would make a list of wrestlers to keep an eye on for this year's tournament. There are 45 states represented so I came up with one guy from each state that could potentially increase their college recruitment stock. This list probably will not mention the best guys from each state, the purpose is to bring attention to guys that not many have ever heard of. Some of them might make a splash in the tournament and some might go 0 - 2, who knows. If you know of any unknown athlete from another state competing in the tournament lets hear about him. This list will be long so I will break it down into a few shorter ones.

Alabama: Will Anderson 126, 2X State champ and he has the same name as a John Wayne character, he has to be tough, right?

Arizona: James Armstrong 113, 3X State Champ

California: Dario Lemus 132, Finished 4th last year

Colorado: Thomas Verrette 126, A freshman ranked in the Top 20

Connecticut: Jackson Heslin 126, Last year he was the only Freshman to be ranked in the states P4P rankings

Delaware: Luke Poore 126, 3X state champ

Florida: Eligh Rivera 138, Class of '23 Top 50 recruit and ranked in the Top 10

Georgia: Drew Gorman 126, Class of '25 Top 20 recruit and ranked in the Top 10

Hawaii: Logan Lua 113, Justice Dale 145, & Joseph Lathwood 132, There is only three from this state and if they are coming from Hawaii they deserve
for everyone to watch them at least once

Iowa: Kale Peterson 120, Class of '23 Top 50 recruit still uncommitted.

Idaho: Aden Attoa 285, Class of '23 Top 50 recruit still uncommitted

Illinois: Brayden Thompson 182, Ranked #1 in the country and finished 3rd last year, let's see if he can improve on that.

Indiana: Ashton Jackson 120, 2X state champ

Kansas: Kaden Allen 132, State Champ

Kentucky: Jayden Raney 106 & Jordyn Raney 120, Twin brothers that both won the HS state tournament last year as 8th graders and both are
Nationally ranked as Freshmans

Louisiana: Ernie Perry III, 120, 3X State Champ

Massachusetts: Tyler Knox 126, State Champ

Maryland: Jacab Brenneman 132, 2X State Champ

Michigan: Josh Barr 170, Let's hope he make the finals for a rematch with Rocco Welsh

Minnesota: Brandon Morvari 113, Top 10 ranked Sr. still uncommitted

Missouri: Brady Roark 126, Class of '23 Top 100 recruit still uncommitted

Mississippi: Garon Murley 126, Wills Bronson 160, Blayne Brawner 182 There is only 3 so take your pick.

Montana: Carter Schmidt 132, State Champ

North Carolina: Cameron Stinson 113, Class of '24 Top 100 recruit

Nebraska: Joel Adams 145, Last years Runner-Up

New Hampshire: Jude Correa 195, Finished 4th last year

New Jersey: Adrian DeJesus 113, Finished 3rd last year as a Soph. and is a Top 20 recruit for the class of '25

New Mexico: Tanner Olguin 113, Last year as an 8th grader he pinned his way through the state tournament.
Bryson Valdez 113, a Jr. and 3X state champ with 9 of 11 wins coming by way of pin.

Nevada: Manual Saldate 126, State Champ

New York: PJ Duke 138, Last years Champion as a Freshman, can he repeat?

Ohio: Dillon Campbell 126, Class of '24 Top 30 recruit

Oklahoma: Kael Voinovich 152, I'm interested to see if he is as good as his brother

Oregon: DJ Gillet 138, Class of '23 Top 50 recruit

Pennsylvania: Ty Watters 152 and Shawn Taylor 160, both are WVU recruits so it's a good time to get an early look at them.
Rocco Welsh 170, In hopes that he makes the finals for a Josh Barr rematch of Number 1 and 2.

Rhode Island: Jacob Joyce 126, Class of '23 Top 100 recruit

South Carolina: Jayden Morris 113 & Joseph Morris 126, a dominate set of Brothers is SC with multiple state championships

South Dakota: Keenan Sheridan 145 & Ethan DeLeon 170, with only 2 entries take you pick

Tennessee: Joseph Uhorchuk 106, As an 8th grader last year, lost in the state finals to a Top 100 recruit by one takedown.
Ethan Uhorchuk 113, 2X state champ as an 8th grader and 9th grader.

Texas: Caio Aron 120, Anyone from TX that has 3 vowels in a row in their name has to be tough, they don't put with that nonsense down there.

Utah: Moses & Marcus Owens 160, Watch to see what brother beats the other but the real fight will be for the window seat on the plane ride home.

Virginia: Cadell Lee 106, I am thinking this kid could be related to Robert E. Lee

Vermont: Anthony Matas 152 & Aaron Johnson 170, Only two entries so take your pick

Washington: Smokey McClure 138, with a name like "Smokey" this kid needs as much attention as he can get because it is clear his parents don't care for him.

Wisconsin: Greyson Clark 132, Class of '23 Top 100 recruit still uncommitted

West Virginia: I will be keeping an eye on all of them but the one kid I am particularly interested in watching is Mathew McFee at 126, as a 2X state champ he is one of WV's P4P best wrestlers.

So there it is, one kid from every state to keep an eye on. Feel free to add to the list but don't criticize it.

Good call on the Degennaro kid from FL, he is straight fire and really fun to watch.

I was really hoping that during one of Michael Mocco's matches that his dad would regain some of that old fire and crush someone in the corner but that never happened. He is pretty young, but his dad has him on the right path.
