When are we getting some updates?

There are people referring to current state individual rankings, however, nothing can be found “via the link” on the WVMAT front page. Does the link need updated or is there somewhere else to find these rankings? Assuming they do exist. Thanks!

appears the site managers are either overloaded with work, found additional things to keep them busy, or have too much on their plate to update rankings (team or individual). Maybe they get too much backlash or hate mail each time a ranking is put out and their interest level is low. But, over the last few seasons the rankings have continued to get fewer and fewer. This year we haven't had a team ranking in a month or an individual ranking at all.

Now, am I bickering about it? Not really....just sometimes coaches are asked weekly by their athletes when the rankings come out. We can say "rankings aren't important" or "rankings dont matter" but fact is they do matter because it matters to them. On the other hand, I'd imagine its an extraordinary amount of work on behalf of a group of volunteers and lovers of wrestling.

Kind of hard to do rankings when coaches and tournaments won’t submit results.

I'm just trying to be helpful here. Are we talking about the individual rankings that came out on Jan 15? There are AAA & AA/A on the "What's New" section that have been there since Jan 15. Was the original post about not being able to open them? I have not had a problem myself. Please note this is about Individual rankings and not team.

I would note that the team polls on the front page has a typo for those done in Dec of 2019 for the first poll on the 2019-20 season. In one place it is dated incorrectly as Dec 18, 2018, instead of Dec 18, 2019.

Thanks for the guidance to look under “Whats New”, I didn’t think to look there. There is a section on the WVMAT Front Page for “Polls”. Under the heading, it has a link “WV-Mat and Coaches Polls”. When you click on the link it will show “Team Polls” in the left hand column and “Individual Rankings” in the right hand column. I took a screen shot but have no idea hot to copy and paste it on this site. Anyway, the last individual Rankings were February 15, 2019 and the last Team Poll shows December 18, 2018 ( believe this is a typo). It appears that this section of the site just needs updated if it still planning to be used. Thanks!
