170 lbs Dylan Heinrich 3 wins - 0 losses

Vs Wheeling's Hunter Nixon 5-2

Vs Parkersburg's Tyler Boyd 8-6

Vs Steubenville's Brandon Kinney 6-5

These names are from the program.

I believe Peyton Hall did have a loss.

Was a good match up of 2 excellent wrestlers. Neither could really get the upper hand on the other. No takedowns. Both escaped handily to tie it at 1-1. Best got out quickly in the first 30 second period. In the second 30 second period Best was able to hold onto Hall's foot over the last part of the period. One of those kind of overtimes. Hall came real close with one takedown with his toe barely coming off the mat at the out of bounds line. That was the only real close call that could have changed things. Two good kids and a good match.

Actually the 138 matches were quite good with Shelek (WP), Muldrew (Steub), and Moler (PHS). That certainly made it a tough night for O'Conner from Oak Glen. Not that there weren't several good match-ups at other weight classes.

Hey Ken, how about some full results since PHS never puts them on here.

Did the Wheeling Intelligencer cover the quad? You can bet your AstroTurf that a football or basketball event of that magnitude would be posted online with pictures interviews and a free coupon for the casino and Godfathers.

I actually didn't keep a detailed record of the matches. Yes, the Wheeling Intelligencer did have wrestling covered, as follows:
Magnolia beat Wheeling Central 72-0 (2 matches actually wrestled, lasting a total of 68 seconds)
Magnolia beat Bellaire 60-17
Doddridge beat Bellaire 36-14
Doddridge beat Wheeling Central 42-6
Magnolia beat Doddridge 48-30

Were there other local results that anyone was interested in?

As far as Park's results, look on http://www.OVAeC.org.
There is much more interest in this area in the OVAC than in the State of WV.

Lil size difference there. Did Hall wrestle up just to give the crowd a show? Love when this happens in college. Doesn't happen near enough imo. Would of loved to had Best at wvu but can't blame the kid for joining AF tho. Blumer seems comparable to best tho.

Anyone care to guess what weight these two will end up at in college. Roberts as welł.

I overheard that Peyton wrestled up because he just wanted to wrestle the best competition he could face. There's nothing he needs to prove. Steubenville's 160 pounder is real good too.
I don't think he did it for the fans or the show. Not being negative, but I believe he did it for himself. He's just a tough wrestler and a real good kid.
