Milton wins Quest in the Nest

Thank you to Jory Whorton for hosting a great tournament with excellent competition. Milton wrestled 3 teams that were in the finals of the Clash. Scores were as followed:

Milton 53
Mountaineer Mon 30

Semifinals:
Milton 48
Park 33

Finals:
Milton 43
West Fairmont 37

I wondered what happened to Milton at the Clash, but then I was told they got put in the same day 1 pool with Johnson Central.

Appreciate the thanks, it was a great event with great competition. All 38 duals box scores have been sent in, so results will be posted for everyone. I inherited this a few years back and hate running 16 teams through on 3 mats, but we got it done. Milton is a battle tested team that comes to scrap every match.

There were 8 teams there that were very impressive. I know for a fact there were 3 duals that came down to the heavyweight. A few that were up in the air going into 171 to 190 range.

Milton was the champions.
West Fairmont was tough til then end. Their 171 put on a great show in the finals bumping up to 190 and trying to keep them alive.
Cody Chapman's pin in the finals won the dirt move of the day. Blast double, opponent chest lock, somersault right into a head and arm! Highly impressive scramble to pin!
