Steve White's passing

I wanted to pass along to the wrestling community the death of former Nitro wrestling coach and fellow official Steve White. His service will be Friday September 28, 2018 at 12:30 at the Cooke funeral home in Nitro and visitation for friends will be Thursday Sept 27, 2018 from 6 pm to 8 pm. He was an outstanding coach, official and fellow member of the West Virginia Chapter of the National Wrestling HOF. a decorated Vietnam Veteran and a good friend to many folks He will nbe missed GK

Rest in peace Coach White. Will be sadly missed by many of our states wrestling family.

Coach White was a huge influence in my officiating career. He brought me up from a pup and was always willing to point out my flaws. He brought me down for his tournament. It was a pleasure to call some heated duals with him in corner. Nothing but the upmost respect. RIP
