In AAA, the new pill twist will be which regional champion gets paired up against a region 4 fourth place finisher.

I was thinking the same thing with the top five teams from the state last year in the same region. It also makes you wonder if it will hurt their team point total by not qualifying as many as they could have if the regions stayed the same as last year. Should be interesting to watch how it works out for everyone this year.

It's a " bitter pill" , " a tough pill to swallow", makes me want to " take two pills and call him in the morning".

So Pennsylvania High School Wrestling will now seed their regional champions for the state tournament instead of the prior years pill draw system. The remainder will fall in based off of the seeding of the regional champion. Any thoughts on why they changed and got rid of the pill system?

Here is the article that was forwarded to me, they kind of talk in circles calling it not seeded but will use a points system of winning percentage, prestige points, and regional place finishing to determine placement. Sounds like a seeding criteria to me.

I like the idea. We discussed this same thing last season here on the forum.
