Attention coaches - JV tournament opportunity-Canceled

Ripley Middle School would like to host a tournament on Wednesday, Feb 3 for all JV teams/wrestlers who have weigh ins left because of the needed format change at WSAZ’s or any other reason. We will begin wrestling as close to 4:30 as possible. Coaches will submit wrestler names and weight classes. We will create the brackets by blind draw. Wrestlers need to be weighed in at their school sometime during the day and signed off by admin or AD. Weight will be base +3.
We will try to get medals for top 4 placers in each class, but being that we are putting this together so late, I can’t guarantee we will have them. This is all about getting these kids some mat time before the season ends. Cost is $15 per wrestler or $175 for team (unlimited entries). More than one wrestler from each team is permitted in each weight class, we will do our best to separate them. Admission will be $5 or adults, $4 for school age children. Concessions will be available.
We need to know if we have enough interest by the end of the school day on Monday, Feb 1. Please email me at jhaskins@k12.wv.us, asap, if you are interested and include a roster with each wrestler’s weight class. Thanks

Just some clarification... If you have varsity wrestlers who have weigh ins left, you can enter them as well. However, please do not enter any "advanced" level wrestlers. Coaches, use your best judgement when considering who to enter. If they have wrestled varsity matches and been pretty successful, please don't enter them. Thanks again.
