I want to give a shout out to Riverside's Raequan McCray for placing 6th in the state tournament at 145.
He placed third in region 3, after being defeated by Josh Humphreys.
In the state semifinals, he was injured while losing a decision. He then forfeited his remaining matches to finish 6th.
This sophomore made one single appearance in the first season poll at #10. After the first week, he dropped out of the polls to never return. He won't be flying under the radar anymore.
Good job.

We was wrestling one heck of a tournament. Sucks that an injury sat him out his other matches. Good job!

He had this all year long. Next year will be exciting. Sometimes all you need is that little boost of confidence. We are expecting a good showing with him and others next year in the Warrior Wrestling room.
