I see that Nitro's Frampton is at 195 at the Winner's Choice.

Is this a permanent change or is he just going after Allman?

I dont think "going after" Allman is a sound strategy... avoiding him makes more sense... lol

This thread isn't fair to Paul Frampton. I'm sure he didn't go up to hunt Mr. All man. Whatever his reasons for going up is his or his coaches choice. No one on here is representing him. He's a high school student. Please remember that.

Well said, regardless of his reasoning for the bump up he is a high school competitor and wrestler a very good tournament. It isn't right for him to be talked about in a negative way.

To set the record straight, I noticed he was up at 195 and I was wondering why he wasn't at 182.

I noticed because he is on my radar. Anybody on my radar has my respect.

I also see he battled back for third.

You are correct. Took my statement off. I was excited for Justin.

With so many wrestlers staying away from 195 class, to have a better chance at a state championship, has caused the 182 class to become very competitive in AA. I believe Frampton is just a 10th grader, but I may be wrong. Any how, I think going to 195 is a good decision. Quite an accomplishment for a young wrestler to place at states, and I'm "guessing" he feels like he has a much better chance at 195 than at 182. Dunno but either way, personally My hats off to him, probably a smart move and glad to see him battle back for third. Great to see everyone clarify there comments, because clarifying just shows that nobody is intentionally putting a kid down and shows we care about the kids & WV wrestling.

Btw, Allman is another great story. Great seeing him battle back from injury and still performing at such a high level.

Paul is a junior. And I think he handled himself well at 195. His decision on weight class is between him, his parents and his coach.
