According to my sources, South hits the mats tonight.
Lets see if they can post the results any quicker than some of these other teams.

They are not doing a very good job promoting the event before hand. The schedule I have located says Wirt County, Buch Upshur and Logan Ohio while the Newspaper says just Wirt County. Does anybody know what team/teams will actually be at South tonight? Also what time does it start?

South will be wrestling a quad at home tonight against Buckhannon Upshur, Wirt Co., and Logan, OH tonight. Wrestling starts at 6:00 P.M.

Paula DeLong has taken on that job. She is Hunter DeLong's mother, a school teacher and really nice person...just like Jenny!

South started 5 Freshman and had 8 wrestlers making their varsity debut tonight. A very young team with only 1 Senior.

Couple of questions about the South-Wirt results:
106: Kyle-WC wb dec over Windland-PS 8-1
Who is "Kyle" from Wirt? I dont see anyone on Wirt's roster by that name.
195: Allman-PS wbf over Byrd-WC 1:30
Same thing with Byrd at 195 from Wirt?

Wyatt Powell was Wirt's 106 and Mike Burns was their 195.

Does South have any/many seniors on the team that are just not varsity?
Or....is this lone starting senior all there is for Class of 2016?

With the addition of Levi Putnam, South now has 3 285's to wrestle off. I saw him Tuesday night and he is a very strong looking young man! Lineman on the football team, I believe.

Hunter is still cutting weight from football. He should be ready to go this weekend in PA.
