the Parkersburg South /Point Pleasant match has been canceled.

Do we have a new date for this match?

I heard Point could join the existing quad of South vs University vs Cabell Midland.

That would be cool and would pack the house.

Why was this canceled? I’m assuming Covid.

It was the snow storm that sent all the schools home early and piled up on roads from 3-10 that evening.

I would think if their schedule permits, Point could still come and just wrestle South, unless they used that weighin for something else.

Mat 1 South vs Point,
mat 2 University vs Midland

Round 2a
Mat 1 South vs Midland (106-145)
Mat 2 South vs University (152-285)
Round 2b
Mat 1 South vs Midland (152-285)
Mat 2 South vs University (106-145)

Get it done in two rounds instead of three. And if South prefers not to split their squad, they can still do it in three rounds as originally planned.
I don't buy the excuse of Point not having the weigh-in. Just come wrestle South during their bye round.

That is exactly what I was thinking, We'll await oroyos' follow-up report from "the hierarchy".
