How does an official call a match from outside the perimeter of the mat? Out of bounds?

I could watch from the 22nd row. Don't know if I could officiate any better? Or possibly worse. Remember quarterfinals round several years ago Chris that you like to remind me about? I sure do.

As for how does an official call a match from the out of bounds or the perimeter?

Very damn carefully.

I'm guessing it has something to do with being far-sighted or being slow in getting out of the way of the action. However, this does interfere with the ability to call pins, in either case.
