MSAC - An Exercise in Continuous Improvement

Last season when the team here at Bear Tracks walked into the MSAC Tournament, the word on the gym floor was many distinguished members of the wrestling community didn't like having the MSAC the weekend before the regional tournament.

Many significant wrestlers were not participating. Some might have been sitting out to avoid injury or a regional seed impacting loss.

LO AND BEHOLD, WV Wrestling made a change!!! We now have the MSAC scheduled for January 7th, 2023.

This will provide a great regional preview, a ranking snapshot and a fun tournament for the fans to catch.

A great job to the decision makers in making this monumental change.

Thank you for the change now our girls will be able to participate. The last 2 years MSAC was on the same date as girls states.
