State tournament seeding

This would be a great year to start seeding the state tournament as there are few wrestlers than usual and such a short season.
It’s ridiculous every year to see a state final occur in the semi finals.
The pill method is outdated and inconsistent.
Every border state seeds their state tournament as should we.
Any thoughts from the wrestling community?

Not the best year to seed wrestlers. Not much of a sample size of work with the limited schedules and Covid Requirements../

I am not opposed to seeding the state tournament at some point in time.

However, this season simply is not working out for many wrestlers in terms of getting "significant" matches. Regardless of the seeding criteria, some wrestlers would get seeded poorly. Even more poorly than what their pill draw would do for them.
